Joyful Endings Longarm Quilting offers professional computer guided quilting services. We have many quilt patterns and thread choices. Our current turnaround time is three to four weeks from the date we receive your quilt.

A longarm quilting machine is different from a regular domestic sewing machine. A domestic sewing machine stays in the same place while the quilt top, batting, and back are manually moved under the machine. This can make quilting difficult.

A longarm quilting machine has a throat space of 18 inches or larger. The longarm quilting machine sits on a large frame, often 10 feet or wider. The longarm quilting machine moves across the frame quilting one row at a time.  Once a row of stitching has been completed, the quilt top, batting, and back are advanced on the frame. The next row of quilting is the same as the first row. This is called edge-to-edge quilting. The edge-to-edge quilting runs the same quilting pattern left to right, top to bottom.  The quilting is run by a computer; the stitching turns out perfect every time.

The cost of longarm quilting is $0.035 per square inch. The $0.035 per square inch includes loading the quilt on the frame, new needle, thread, one layer of Soft and Bright polyester batting, and your choice of a quilting pattern. If you don't find a quilting pattern that matches the theme of your quilt, let us know. We are happy to work with you to find the perfect quilting pattern.

We offer binding services and additional batting options. At this time, we are not doing t-shirt or memory quilts. Quilt backing needs to be quilters cotton or flannel.
